The Baltimore County Horse Show Association or BCHSA is a non-profit organization that provides a framework under which equestrian sports are conducted for riders and horse enthusiasts of all ages throughout the Central Maryland area.
Thirty years ago a group of local horsemen met at a local school to outline the new Baltimore County Horse Show Association; their vision was to create an organization that offers its members a voice and a vote in all aspects of the association and to hold competitions of quality throughout the area. What started as a very small club has grown into an association with as many as three hundred members, a full schedule of horse shows, and a very competitive Equitation Medal Finals competition for all ages.
As the BCHSA looks forward to its next thirty years we pay close attention to our roots, as we strive to continue the tradition of excellence in horsemanship and sportsmanship!

Howard County Horse Shows Association
Howard County Horse Shows Association was formed with the goal of having safe and enjoyable quality horse shows.
The most obvious change has been the vast improvement of the quality of the horses and rides and the horse shows. As members, all should take great pride in what has been achieved, but remember that we owe a special thanks to the two ladies who have made the Association a reality

Founded in 1932, The Maryland Horse Show Association is one of the oldest, continuous horse show associations in the United States. Our goal is to provide the latest news and information regarding rated shows throughout the region.
This website exists for members to encourage riders, trainers and event organizers to post event schedules, show results and current standings.
Our mission is to provide helpful information to foster horsemanship, competitive riding, endorsement of fair and equitable rules while promoting the welfare of horses and ponies. The MHSA is a long-time Affiliate Member of USA Equestrian and now the USHJA. |
