    Men's Riding Apparel

Historically, Men were the Equestrians, however with in the Horse Show World Women are taking over, especially when it comes to riding apparel. Men still dominate the racing world and are very present in the Fox Hunting world. However, when it comes to Men’s Riding Apparel, they are much more limited in choice than women.

Like women, men’s footwear must be a good black or brown paddock or black tall boot. The paddocks must have a heal, arch support and nothing to catch on the stirrup. Ariat and other main manufactures make men’s boots.  Men who are casually riding can also wear men’s cowboy boots.

Pants for men who plan to show or fox hunt wear men’s breeches. Casually men can wear any pant then like with a men’s half chap for leg protection.

Men’s shirts are the most different than women’s since they can wear a fitted dress shirt tucked into their breeches with a tie. Stocks are worn over the shirts in Fox Hunting and Dressage.

Gloves always come in men’s sizes too so that should not be a problem.

If you need help finding men’s apparel we also suggest shops like our Consignment shop or call us! 1-800-428-5077
